Saturday, August 21'st, 2004:

Members of the Missouri League of the South participated in a "Bye Bye Bob" rally at the Missouri Governor's mansion in Jefferson City, Missouri. There was much to celebrate as the South witnessed the demise of yet another South -hating Governor. The Missouri League of the South played a vital role in reminding the public that Governor Bob Holden took down the Confederate Flags in Higginsville and Pilot Knob.

Nevada , Missouri Celebrates "Bushwhacker Days".

-It is a yearly event to celebrate the towns heritage of being the "Bushwhacker Capitol". The Missouri League of the South was very well received .

Saturday, June 5th, 2004:

The Missouri League of the South held its first annual Confederate Memorial Day service in Pilot Knob , Missouri. The event was very well received and featured Missouri League members Rick Gibbs and Clint Lacy as speakers.

Fall 2004
The Sw and SE Chapters of the Missouri League of the South
team up at Ft. Davidson, Pilot Knob MO for the reenactment of the battle.
We set up a booth selling bumper stickers and talking to dozens of attendes.
We also gained the approval of the crowd by raising a Battle Flag next to the empty pole.
