As some of you already know the restoration of the Confederate Flags to State historical sites has been in the news in the recent days. June 5 05, NAACP to protest flag order - The rasict NAACP imposed thier "drastic response" with a 20 person protest at the Gov. Mansion. The large and very rich NAACP was only able to come up with 20 people while there were over 400 true Missourians honoring our fallen hero's. The NAACP is threatening a state wide boycott if the Flag issue continues. Keeping the NAACP out of Missouri would onlt make this a better state. I say bring it on. Read More
June 5 05, Hundreds Attend Confederate Memorial Service - About 400 people turned out for the Confederate Memorial Service in Higginville. Organizers believe the good turnout was partly do to the Gov. alowing the Confederate Flag to fly from its rightful place in the cemetery. Missouirians participated in a parade and service around the flag pole to honor our fallen hero's. The service was ended by a group sining of "Dixie". Read More
June 3 05, Confederate Flag to Fly Sunday - Gov. Matt Blunt ordered the Confederate Flag to fly Sunday the 5th for the Confederate Memorial Day service. Blunt said he supports a scholarly review of whether it is appropriate to fly the flag year around. The state NAACP leader is vowing a drastic response. Read More
May 5th 05 - The House tables a bill thursday that would have allowed the state park board to decide whether the Confederate flag should fly again over Missouri's Historical gravesites. Several Lawmakers decried the bill, arguing that the Confederate flag is offensive to many black Americans who accociate it with slavery.  Read More
